This reminds me of a famous quote I've heard, "The things that you don't like reveal your faults." I've found this to be very true when I take the time to reflect on the things that I'm against.
Another interesting aspect of relationship is that each and every personal relationship is unique. In reality we have no idea what the relationship between 2 other people is like because there is so much we don't know.
