I added pumpkin seeds to the filling, and I used currants instead of raisins your typical raisin.
And I used more cinnamon that the recipe called for, because I LOVE cinnamon.

Hey, that's my blog! I'm glad you like the recipe Rachelle. It's one of my favorites. I make it all the time when I'm asked to bring a dessert to a gathering. It's always a success. Than people are shocked to find out that it's raw and contains no sugar.
I'm not raw but if I ever do make desserts I always make raw desserts. I've cut processed sugar completely out of my family's diet. Well not my 15 year-old's. teenagers will eat what they want when they're out of the house.
Raw desserts are surprisingly simple to make. I just love Ani Phyo's recipe book. She has some great raw desserts in there.
