Training
All depends on what area of computers (or whatever subject) you need them trained on. First and foremost is go with a reputable company and one that teaches skills that are needed for your particular application, or if more general then industry standard skills (i.e. A+, N+, MCSA/MCSE, Cisco, etc). There are a ton of different training and certs out there. You can get even more specific and have training on specific software (MS Office, Access, HTML, Dreamweaver, etc). Write down exactly what you need the employees to be able to do before contacting a training company. This will help them design a program to meet your needs.
I'm at a different point where I'm focusing on getting the training for myself for a career change. I am taking basic industry standard classes and certifications so I can enter the field (A+, N+, MCSA/MCSE), and then take more specialized classes once I decide which direction I want to take (Networking, Programming, Security, Database Admin, etc).
Depending on where you are located, there are some big, reputable technical schools. ECPI, InfoSys, and ITT are a few.
