I would say that Northern California is the best place to live... some of the best weather in the world... close to the ocean... large city San Francisco (beautiful)... snow two hours north with some of the best ski resorts in the world... wine country... beautifully scenery all the way around. I have been in most of the places in the united states and Northern California is by far the best... and you do pay for it.
