Can I contact a deceased relative?" - and, as a Christian, Jesus' caution is "avoid, don't go there, nor join" (as we could be either fooled, or worse possessed by another spirit, with harmful intentions & abilities, more advanced than ours.
That said, animals (not having been taught by humans, to not), do use all their abilities continuously...) for their own, as well as people's helpful benefits...
