Ugh... (on my end). I spent 3 months trying to do that and it doesn't work. Pick one goal then throw all your energy into making it succeed. Once you have it finished / autopilot then tackle a new goal. Some goals can be done simultaneously, say a black belt in taekwondo and a new business because taekwondo can only take a limited amount of time in order to achieve that goal. While others, a startup business and learn how to play the piano professionally, may not. For me I have 20 ideas that I want to pursue and am currently in an job that sucks up 40 hours a week.
What I've learned is that there is a limit to what I can invest myself into effort wise. I can take 1 step every day on 20 things and at the end of the month I'm barely closer to my goal. Or I can take 1 step each day on 1 thing and by the end be alot closer to my goal.
What I have found works for me is having a 3 Goals for the year and then having a single focus. So for right now my goal is to become financially independent (i.e. JOBless) and I am pursuing that single mindedly. Once I hit the point where that is self-sustaining I can pursue my next goal, a community for personal development oriented minds in my local community.
After doing things to move my goal forward I take the time to do some stuff to recouperate.
Anyhow I highly recommend focus (Steve talks about it here
