 hillarious but....
I found it hilarious but....
On one hand he put a mirror infront of American society, and it wasn't a pretty one. Many Racists, Chauvinists, Antisemites and Ignorant people out there, and I think its important to uncover this ugly side and see it for what it is- too much Ignorance and Apathy.
But on the other hand sometimes he took it too far, He really hurt some people in that film, offended a wife infront of her husband- which is terrible- who knows what the implications of such a joke are, I know for instance that the manager the local live TV show lost her job after Borat caused a scene on the show. I find it wrong to not take responsibilty for those who help you on your road to sucsess. I think its OK if he shows a group of people acting unmoraly, but to hurt people just for the sake of it, especially in such a public format, is terrible.
