Default When the writing is on the wall

After reading Steve Pavalina’s post on creating a belief board and yesterday’s post on What’s the best that could happen?, I got much more interested in what was possible with having visual reminders of my goals. In the 11 forgotten Laws Bob Proctor talks about how you should write out the way it is, and then write out the exact opposite. So I did as follows:

Version 1: The job search has been challenging. Very few employers are responding to my emails. I’m about to run out of money and might have to move home, etc, etc.

Version 2: The job search has been a dramatic success. Numerous employers have been responding to my emails to setup interviews. Several have already made offers. Money is flowing into my life like never before and I’m thinking about moving to my own apartment by the beach.

Obviously, these are two dramatically different stories. The reason I made version two bigger is that the better story is the one I want you to focus on. Rather than just write it out, I decided to print out in some ridiculously large font and put it on the wall. It’s the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I go to sleep. Basically, the writing is on the wall….has an entirely new meaning in my life.
