Juicing 8 carrots probably gives you the nutrional value of eating like 4 carrots. A lot of the nutrients are lost in the juicing process.

Writing stuff down is a very effective way to not only track your progress, but to get things straight in your head. It also adds an element of accountability to the whole process.
