Firstly my condolences on the loss of your love from this plane, but I am delighted to hear that you are open enough to receive the communication from the other side.
Many of my clients have reported three visitations (either in a dream state or in the physical world) from their lost loved ones. Do not be surprised if your connection with him becomes more subtle from now on - it is their way of popping in and making sure you are okay.
