I actually go out and meet people in places where we speech about specific things in life. I will give you an example. One of my friends accused me of being ignorant of places -in our country such as Museum, Societies, Malls- because I do not go out. I actually go out but not a lot. Moreover, I do not have a car. My education is useful because it will guarantee a part of my future. I do not consider going out to a restaurant something useful. I do not consider shopping a lot as a useful thing. They are actually time wasters. I believe that we should spend our life in something beneficial specially in youth. |
I think having fun is really important to being a healthy person for me.. So I like listening to music and going to see bands play live at shows. But I really can't be bothered going to clubs that will play dance music of any kind, becasue I don't feel all that connected to the people around me, who like that music. I agree that shopping malls seem to be a waste of time, although I like going to independent CD stores and book stores..
So yeah, in my case, I think it's just a matter of doing what makes you happy.. Some things that are fun for me, are not fun for others, and vice versa.
Einstein said that if success in life is a + b + c then a is work, b is play and c is keeping your mouth shut. Although I think this was just a joke, my point is, that if Einstein said that play is important, I think it is too. lol
I also need to work on doing things that are beneficial to society.. and I'm working on that as well..
I think maybe you'd benefit from finding your own ways to have fun.. but it's your life to live your own way.. It's good you take on feedback from others, can be really useful, but I still think you've got to find whats right for you!
