I mean that I like spending my time in something useful. A lot of colleagues criticize me for staying at home and concentrating on my Education.
I'm curious about your definition of useful and also what you colleagues believe you should be doing instead?

Is it normal to be like that ?
Would it matter if it were normal? If so, why would it matter?

Ultimately it has nothing to do with them and everything to do with what you want in your life. When is important to you? Do you feel fulfilled doing what you are doing?

You are the authority in your life. You get decide what is best for you.

Now having said all of that, I use to live a relatively solitary life focused around a few things. I had lived it my whole life. I was satisifed with it. Then, something happened and I started trying different things. There is a whole world out there waiting to be explored. There are experiences you can't even begin to dream of because you are not aware they exist. Now, I can't imagine going back to the life I had.

Don't be afraid to do what you want in life. Also don't be afraid to explore and try something you've never done. You might find yourself surprised about what you had been missing.
