That being said, I wouldn't discourage anyone from starting their own PD blog. There will always be someone willing to learn once the teacher appears, and everyone will always have their own unique spin on what they believe personal development is. Who knows, you (as in anyone starting one of these blogs) may just be able to provide the right advice, worded in the right way, from the right frame, to get someone to make the turnaround in their life in some way. And if helping people is why you're in it, then it'll have been worth it. |
I agree, and I believe everyone has something different to offer, through personal stories. Real people can relate to real stories, such as overcoming obstacles and finding success or happiness.
Personal development is just that,
personal. It is there, we will the find true value of all the different PD blogs. We all come from different backgrounds, and it may be easier to relate to someone who has experiences similar to our own.
