Concentration Camp Challenge
I just finished my warm up challenges: No Complaining, and Gentleman Challenge. The focus of those challenges was to avoid certain behaviours. If this challenge was Diablo 2 (computer game), in my previous challenges I was fighting against Diablo's minions. I gained a lot of good experiences from them and my challenges synergies each other so I think I'm ready to face Diablo now.
The difference in focus here is that I will now be dealing with my thoughts and not external behaviours. This will be a whole new playing field. I prepared myself a battle prayer to help me with this quest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I ask your help that you grant me the courage to focus on this three main things that I desire the most.
Firstly, I ask for your guidance and support to lead me to be confident about my career path. Please, I ask that you make University very enjoyable for me. Please provide me with the support financially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally to continue with this journey. I ask that you hold my eyes open so I’ll be able to see the opportunities when they are available and the courage to follow through with your plan when I’m powerless. In preparation to receive this blessing, I will do my own research to look for more career opportunities and adhere to a schedule dedicated to empowering myself in this area of my life. If you have other means of preparing me then please show me the way and I ask that you grant me to courage to follow through with it.
Secondly, I ask of you to mold me into the best dancer that I can be. Please grant me the opportunity to perform in clubs, competition, and events. Please grant me experiences and inspirations necessary so I can be the best dancer that I can be. I ask of you to give me courage to only focus on expressing and give me the strength and humility to accept any undertaking. In preparation to receive this blessing, I will dedicate my time practicing dancing and I will share this gift to everyone around me. If you have other means of preparing me then please show me the way and I ask that you grant me to courage to follow through with it.
Finally, I ask you to grant me wisdom and strength to cultivating strong and meaningful bonds with the people around me. I ask of you to guide me so I can treat people with utmost respect. I ask you to grant me the wisdom and patience so I can be more understanding of others. I ask that you grant me the eye so I can see to appreciate and be truly grateful about the people around me. I ask that you give me courage and support to be merciful. In preparation for this blessing, I will honour the principles that I asked for and please grant me the courage to follow through with this.
In this journey, I ask that you provide me with the energy to fuel my walks, the compass that will lead me when I am lost, and courage to get up when I have fallen. This is in your own time so grant me the patience to enjoy the wonderful experiences of this adventure."

My current stats:
Bad:
-My thoughts are all over the place
-I am filled with negative thoughts
-My thoughts are mainly focus on temporary things
Good:
-I'm willing to get better
-My discipline level is pretty high
What I want to get out of this challenge:
I only desire very few things but because my thoughts are not tamed I easily forget about them. I just want to focus on giving all my efforts to achieving this three things.
Here are a list of common thought traps that I get stuck at:
-Girls
-Impressing people
-How badly I suck at things
-My looks
-Failures
-girls again
-and etc...
There is no deadline for this challenge. My goal is to master my thoughts so I'll do my best to achieve that by focusing solely on this three things.
My task is to read this prayer every morning and before I go to sleep.
I'll make my report simple since I want to spend most of my time trying to achieve this goal. The format would look like this:
---------------------------------------------------------
Example:
Date: May 19, 2009
Morning Prayer: Yes
Evening Prayer: Yes
Comments: [blah blah]
