that sounds like what they say in the book.
in thiaoouba prophecy they say that deja vu is you remembering a small part of your life that was shown to you by your higher self before you entered your present body. the book says that before you pass into your new life you go through the "river of oblivion" which erases your knowledge of what your higher self has shown you about your new life in your present body and sometimes your soul remembers some small details and thats where deja vu comes from. what they mean is that you have been shown your entire life already by your higher self and you chose to live this life, and each time you have deja vu your soul remembers this small part and that's why you feel you have been there before or heard or seen it before.
what does anyone else think?

i tried to explain it best i could but if you read the book you will underrstand it better.
