Well, I have the license for a certain language-learning CD. When I lent it to my friend, it's within reasonable use and not a punishable offense. I can grab a friend and collectively buy a book, CD, word-processing program, video game, etc. If I sold a licensed product, I would welcome customers who combined resources to buy it.
