The concept of being completely in control of intention and manifestations can be confusing, especially when events in your life seem to go haywire. Life experience offers humbling situations. Another way to view them is as reminders your soul is sending messages about where you truly want to be.
This draws to mind an example. At one point in my life, I was caring for a sick relative and became dependant on subcontractors for my main business and income source. As I progressively received unreasonable demands from the senior subcontractor, I realized this person's personality and our informal business arrangement were not working. I thought myself understanding and was willing to talk things over but, the person repeatedly demanded higher fees just days before clients were waiting for service. The subcontractor behaved in unacceptable ways as if she felt she was indispensable. It appeared she had unresolved anger and issues unrelated to her job. My efforts to discuss matters from overseas taught me she is unreceptive to logic or basic financial sense. My obvious choices were to let this person go and lose clients, find someone else to take this person's place short notice when skills are hard to find, or shut business altogether with pending bills. The solution is not always obvious.
When one arrives at an unreasonable situation, it can be hard to fathom that you have invited or attracted everything on some level. Now, I can see beyond the difficult circumstances to where my heart was outside the business. I realized I did not want to be in that line of work and this encounter with an unreasonable person was confirming that. I am grateful to this person for bringing my fear to the surface to I was forced to face it.
My own revelations did not mean all obstacles faded away or that sources of discomfort immediately disappeared. Yet, the nature of energy vibration always brings a person what is needed to stretch and grow. This is not necessarily what is wanted on a conscious level. To align is a loving thing you do for yourself. This process requires you detach from certain thoughts and situations in your life that are incompatible with who you are.
