Matt, I am utterly devastated by your post. However, there may be some truth in it.
He is in fact a remote controlled robot, created by robots for robots - a robot's robot, if you will.
Yes, you're right, his hard-coded remit is to provide all those lovely little personal development informational goodies which he downloads weekly from a universal PD database into his main cpu.
He also doesn't post as often because his rechargeable batteries are not as efficient as they used to be. A couple of years ago, he would be fully charged in 6 hours, now it's more like 10 days - lying inert in a darkened room.
Yes, he likes twittering in a strange language with other machines. Nobody has (as yet) succeeded in translating it.
Likes: Daleks; watching washing machines (especially the final rinse).
Dislikes: magnets; stairs.
Love of his life: a rather classy Kirby vacuum cleaner from the flat above.
