Don't worry so much about what you see; senses are just a means of presenting a metaphor. Put your attention instead on what you feel and eliminate all expectations. Try to draw your awareness around your heart center and become aware of your whole body and feel the life in it. Then, keeping your mind relaxed, open up to the awareness that is behind all thoughts and sensations, realizing that it is you and all you're trying to do is unstop the flow from your original self.
