Ace, if you want to talk to your higher self I very much recommend the book "Unlock your intuition" by Andrea Hess. You can find it on amazon or on her website (
Empowered Soul: Develop your intuition and clear negative energy through Soul Realignment). She teaches exactly that: communication with your HS. At first through dowsing and yes/no questions, then with open ended questions and without dowsing. You'll need to practice daily though, so serious motivation is required.
