Ah, yes, this is my experience as well.
This is something i especially notice when i have 8 or more intentions running at the same time.
Progress is made on the intentions i focus on the most, but if i forget about the "lower ranking" ones it seems that they lose power over time. They are still working on the background, absolutely. Just by having the intentions in writing(and in my mind) i am keeping them alive. I just don't really think about the less important ones much, even though they are things i would like, but i am in no rush or anything.
There really is something to be said about disciplining the mind. It is indeed very important. Setting aside times for visualization and meditation and whatnot.
It's like comparing the guy who exercises very little, but is consistent about it, versus the guy who exercises once a month and pushes himself beyond his limits. The guy who is consistent always comes out on top, and the other guy may very well push himself so hard that he gets injured in the process.
