I'm not going into criminal justice; I'm going to major in computer science.
I'll be attending the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Anyway, I went today to talk with an admissions councelor and to meet with the computer science department. I am really happy with that department; it seems better than the CS department at Duquesne. Instead of using C++ and Java to teach theories, data structures, etc, they use Ada. They said they stuck with it as other universities were shying away from it, but now it seems many universities are starting to teach Ada again.
They seem to have a lot of options as you get into the more advanced levels, where you can really pursue anything you want to.
They're going to see about where to place me though, whether or not I have to take the introductory course, since I've already taken a computer science course at Duquesne. I'm afraid of getting bored with that first course.
I'm going back tonight to meet with the Delta Chi's.
