Default Working in paradise NOT a good idea?

I'm in an interesting situation.

I have been given the opportunity to be a house-sitter/care taker for one month in an idillic setting in a small community. In this situation I would be largely isolated for most of the month. The pay would just be reimbursement of my expenses and a reference (related to landscaping - the Industry I'm trying to break into).

I personally have no problem with the isolation. But I am wondering if now is the best time to isolate myself.

I have started seriously job searching and have really been focusing on growing socially. Both would be either hampered, or at least delayed in this situation (well the job searching at least as I would be far from home).

While I'd love to kick back, kayak and work in the sun of semi-rural nz unsupervised, I feel it might destroy the precious little momentum I have created. Any thoughts would be appreciated (am I crazy even questioning this opportunity?)
