Its not congruent with the idea that the blog is about the practical keys to a successful life (taken from the about page after the fluff about this page/blog will change your life).
Maybe that's a too broad purpose for his blog. Maybe if his blog was focused on a successful life with the help of SEO for his visitors that are (asipring) website owners then it would be congruent. I can't comment on his blog not being
congruent as I can't find the section you're talking about. Could you post a link so i can have a look?
As for a blog not being congruent because of something that was written in the About page, I'm not sure what relevance that has to the value of the information contained in the blog itself.
btw, if you've got any bookmarks lying around for websites with better SEO info I'd really appreciate if you could post them.
