It's funny you mentioned this, it was one of the conclusions from the book I mentioned (which by the way is very out of print, so I might have to write an extract soon). The book mentioned that the rape fantasy is a metaphor for enjoying sexuality without the risk of being labeled as a slut.
Personally I think there's something massively wrong with western sexuality if the most common fantasies involve raping and being raped.
By the way, Steve and Erin, could you pleeeeaaaaase find the book 'White Hero, Black Beast' by Paul Hoch in a library near you and write a blog entry on it?? Please??
