 I would say so
Last year, I intended to improve my graphic design skills and change my career from tech sales to SEO & Web design small to meduim tech businesses. Next thing you know, I found someone who sold me an Apple notebook that had loads of graphic design software on it for a great price.
Since then, I've been keeping my intention and design work has been coming my way. Plus I keep getting great tips and leads for other work. I'm no expert yet and but I seek help from others and it's working out fine.
Keep your intention because there will be times when it seems that nothing is happening, but hold on and the storm will pass.
