I usually just visualize them as happy. That way I can be pretty sure I'm not twisting their arm, spiritually that is. People derive happiness from lots of different things plus it seems the bottom line to any intention is happiness, whatever route is taken to get there is on them. If someone asks for something specific, I will go with that after asking if they're sure.
