focus on running This year I really want to focus on my running. I was a competitive swimmer for years, along with cycling to practice often (now to work). In my first sprint triathlon (1/2 mi swim, 20k bike, 5k run), I ended up walking a large portion of the run. Since then, I have begun training for my first half marathon.
This weekend I actually ended up running 10 miles both Saturday and Sunday.
As far as my goals are concerned, I want to be able to hold about 7 minute during a 5k at the end of a sprint triathlon (by about May).
Other fitness goals include hitting a target weight of about 180-190. (I'm 6'3 at 200ish).
