I was at Charter One bank about a week ago, to put money into the debit account there, which I am using as a intermediary account til I have enough to open an ING. Anyway, I had to "reopen" my account, because I hadn't used it in so long. In the process of doing that, I found that not only did Kevin, the banker, have the exact same birthday as me, but he also lives in my apartment complex. Immediately after that, he tells me "You're pre-approved for a credit card, do you want me to process the application?" Normally, I wouldn't, cause I am not really in any financial shape to take on credit, really. However, since I viewed the birthday/thing as a synchronicity, I said yes, not expecting much, I figure I could cut it up the 500 dollar limit, 26% APR card when it shows up. Anyway, the card came today with a credit limit of...$2500 dollars, as well as having a 0% interest rate for the first 6 months. Why is this significant? Mainly because this is the exact amount of money I need to print my bands initial batch of 1000 records.

Now, this isnt the most ideal way to print the record, but the venue is open. We still have some time, and I do believe that a more ideal situation may yet arise. If anything this is just the alpha reflection. I was planning on getting a "band card" anyway. However, I do want to make sure we have a money making venture first.
