The distant healing you describe is one aspect of QuantumTouch, but not solely confined to QT. QT uses specific breathing techniques to help amplify life energy. There is what is called entrainment, where the lower life force state begins to raise to match the higher life force state of the one facilitating the vibration.

I'm really interested in your experiences. |
My experiences with QT/ QuantumTouch has been in receiving, but mostly giving. I have been to the Live basic workshop, and several times to the DVD interactive workshop. I think the focused practice over the two days really helps, as does any regular practice except where one is trying too hard. I experienced that (trying too hard) in the first year, and did not use QT for about two years. There was energy coming through the hands before encountering QT. When i tried to run energy with QT it seemed to stop. I recognize now that the energy in the hands was coming out of a Yin space that was occurring out of meditation i use to do regularly. That was confusing and frustrating, but now i am more at ease in running energy.
Have any of you done the SC? I am part way through the book and i see why it is called SuperCharging.
In regards to Reiki; would any of you say it is "Yin " in nature. Would that be correct? Someone was explaining to me that her Reiki friend tried QT, but did not like it. The thoughts occurred to me that; Reiki is Yin, QT (basic) is Yang, and that she did not like it because Basic QT was too yang for her to work with, or that she required Yin, or related more readily to Yin energy. I had someone do Reiki on me, and i felt that difference between QT and Reiki. I am curious about it.
In 2004 i started seeing a practitioner for my Scoliosis and soon attended her Interactive QT DVD workshop. In her sessions the QT was added at the tail end of her particular combination of bodywork relating to meridians, points, and movements. Something like that. Sessions were over about five months and spaced about two weeks apart. Feeling the spine with my hands after each session revealed a small amount of spinal straightening. It continued to do so over 3 days, but then started losing the gains. As i received more sessions, the gains held out better. It was like three steps forward, and two back. Two weeks between sessions was too far apart. I believe closer sessions may have yielded three steps forward and one step back type of thing. I stopped seeing the practitioner due to a new job having continuously shifting days and hours. After that the gains held out for over a year before some loss started occurring.
In late 2006 i returned to practicing QT. Running energy was easier, but i was no longer feeling the automatic energy in the hands. The ease of running energy has been more of an evolution and i am much more at ease with it today. There had been doubts in the beginning and questioning if i was doing it correctly.
For following was of help; Practice over time, Particularly the workshops that were condensed over the weekend ; Putting positive outcome thoughts over doubts seems to boost the energy (that is covered in the book anyway); QT forum and chat room.
Weather it is QT or something else, i am now seeing the importance of raising ones vibration / energy on a regular basis. Similar to Holistic Star's experience of taking time to get up to speed when one is low, and when it is near high it doesn't take much to get there. Among other things, that is why i have i am currently in a 30 day trial with the SC 12 colour meditation.
Although i have done some hands on work, most has been distant QT in a dynamic online chat environment. The feedback is really useful for making adjustments, and helps build confidence. It was common to have pain or discomfort reduced by the end of a session. It varied, but it was not unusual to have drastic reductions. There were only two people where effects were either not noticeable, or only slightly noticeable. One of them had a string of serious Long term issues for about 20 years, was quite frail and had also got busted up badly in a car accident a few years ago. I had been working on her weekly over several months. It was when i started using some SuperCharging that some observable effects started happening. The most notable were over two weeks where we heard a loud cracking from re adjustments/ alignments. No massaging, just light hands on.
Gerber mentioned people having sensation in the stomach on people receiving distant QT. When i have done distant work, it has varied from person to person as to what they reported experiencing.
-Once i worked on someones hips for 3 to 4 minutes, and they leveled out from having about 2 cm ( 3/4 inch) difference. It is shown in the video and talked about in the book, but when you see it for yourself, its like "did that really happen". LOL, i checked it three times.
-I have done distant work on someone in front of me that was fresh from a sports injury. She was clutching at the injury. After a few minutes of silent/ hidden QT work, I asked how it was feeling. There was no answer in the baffled look on her face as if she was looking for something lost.
-My mother asked me to massage her once where her whole right shoulder/ Lat section had dropped at least three finger widths. That was from doing physical activity. I "hid" the QT while massaging. I was really surprised that as i was doing semi light rubbing circles on the dropped side of her back, the whole right side just shifted upwards and it became more or less level. I was fluctuating between Basic QT, and Core Transformation breathing which i have sometimes had success with and other times not sure if i am there, or doesn't seem to be there. That has been from trying to learn it from the DVD, rather than a workshop.
The most memorable experience i had was about an hour and a quarter into Chakra Charge. It is in in the back of the book, where you lie down opposite a partner, and both run energy into each others feet. Effectively having a continual loop of energy. I love it, but don't have anyone to do that with. The energy was really high after that long a time, and i sort of paused/ entered a Yin state. I did not plan it, as it just happened intuitively. It was a deep feeling state in a nothingness. I could not even see anything. It is somewhat similar to a short nap where you remain consciously aware, and coming out of it deeply rejuvenated. I was unable to stay in there for more than about a half a minute. I had to continue running energy and return to it. Did it a few times. Two things happened; I felt my pelvis actually shifting/ repositioning, and also had an intuitive sense that there was a physical transformation as if a re shaping of the pelvic/ hip bone area. I am not sure what it is called technically. It was definitely not my thinking but a strong sense about it.
