Some time ago, when I wasn't doing much of running, just weight lifting and other sports, I didn't think I could do the 26.2 Mile marathon either, I just felt it. Then I came across Dean Karnazes and his ultra-marathon running and though to myself that if a human can develop to the point of running a marathon per day for 50 days, why can't I just train and run in one marathon?

That's where the breakthrough came, I did a lot of research on different training programs and when I saw the Jeff Galloway program, I thought "this is a breeze", so that's what I've picked and am sticking with. On my blog, I'm posting weekly reports.

Oh, and it sounds cool..... "I'm training for a marathon". Ha..
