Thanks everyone for a useful thread. I'm not using SBI, I just started a Wordpress blog with my own domain, and used Thesis as a template. But it is my goal to build an audience and make money sharing my thoughts, and I've benefitted from this discussion.
My first attempt at monetization was Amazon Affiliate marketing, and I actually made $5 the first couple of days I had a link up, so I added quite a few more, and a sidebar widget. Does anyone have any thoughts about Amazon Affiliate?
