By minority I mean any group which is not in the majority at any given time.
So if a white person goes into an area whereby they are the minority it is often they they will be judged more critically. Or if an atheist happens to be around a group of religious people.
I have lived in other countries and I can tell you that racism exists every where! After some time of observing this I realized that its not actually racism but other groups herding and being critical of my being the minority in that arena. |
You raise a good point. I suppose one possible solution would be for people to stop creating separation by herding based on on a physical attribute. Obviously that requires everyone to cooperate. Those in the majority must accept minorities and treat them as equals. Those in the minority must stop herding together based on the physical attribute. I think that the behavior change by the minority groups would be made much easier if the behavior of the majority groups were to change first. However, I also see where the behavior of the majority groups would be easier to change if the minority groups were not differentiating themselves from the majority by herding.
