I felt like you too,i thought it might be my manifestation because after my mother's bad dream about my dog i scared too much and i have doubt that maybe I manifested his illness.(it happened the next day after my mother's dream)

I think i would not visualize nor affirm for his health if i would have another chance...But i am not sure what caused this tragedy, because the veterinarian couldn't solve it,it remained as a mystery.Maybe trying different veterinarians is the best choice. If your veterinarian couldn't solve your cat's problems,i would try another veterinarian.I am very regretful that i trusted my veterinarian and didn't take my dog to another veterinarian that day in which i noticed that my dog was moving very slowly...

I hope your cat gets well in little time...
That really must have been heartbreaking, Jack. Honestly, though, after immersing myself in study of LoA for quite some time now, I see no evidence of the supposed phenomenon that people attract what they are afraid of, except when they act in detrimental ways because of their fear. It seems to be psychological rather than cosmic.

Sure, people will toss out anecdotes saying, "Well -- I was really afraid someday I'd get in a car accident, and then -- one day I did!" But overwhelmingly, the evidence goes in the opposite direction. A person may be fearful of rejection, and then attract rejection by acting insecure and needy. But I see no evidence that people who are afraid of plane crashes get in plane crashes more often than people who aren't afraid.

I shy away from LoA ideas where people have to really go through a lot of contortions to try to support these theories. Just because a respected author says something, doesn't necessarily make it true. One main point that stands out for me about the theory "we attract what we fear," is that if that were really the case, the death rates for babies and children would be astronomically high. Every woman who'd ever had one miscarriage would never be able to bring an unborn baby into the world. Any child who had a serious illness or injury, who needed an operation, who had to stay in the hospital for some reason -- they'd all die, because the parents are afraid.

It just doesn't hold up.

If anything, it looks like your mother had some precognition in that dream.
