If this is important enough to you, I highly recommend reiki, for healing yourself and your cat and anyone and any animal you might want to heal in the future. It is a small investment to do the reiki 1 level (shouldn't be more than $300) and it will last a lifetime. It has changed my life. You can do it on your cat, even from a short distance if necessary. It brings a good inner feeling on whoever you direct it to, and in some cases it might dissolve physical ailments with regular use (i.e. once a day/week), but that's not a promise.
