I had fleeting thoughts of that myself, of catching rodents outside with live traps and letting the cat have at it. A problem is, she has a tendency to ralph it back up when she does eat one. Then I come home to this lovely sight.

It seems like that raw food diet is about as close as one can get to the real thing. They've got it formulated to include most everything a cat would eat if the cat ate actual mice, including the food that the mice eat which is in their digestive system.
