I would have to say that my absolute, all-time favorite video game has to be Crono Trigger for the Snes.
As for the most addicting, that award would have to go to Everquest, aka Evercrack, aka Everarse, aka Eversmack. I logged between six to eighteen hours a day for over two years playing that game, and ended up flunking college because of it. Thank god I learned my lesson by the time World of Warcraft came along.
