I think Steve has plans to do this "formally", meaning eventually his articles might be translated into many languages and put in language sub-domains under his main site. I've been wanting to translate some of his articles for quite a while now, so I can totally relate to what you're saying, but I think it's better to wait until Steve decides to do this officially. I have already volunteered to help with the Portuguese translations myself.
