I hold my mouse button down on the browser scroll bar to stop the blinking -- seems to interfere with it somehow (OSX/Safari).
I'm not a fan of ads with looped or unprompted animation, but those that give you the option of hovering over to see the animation are much better. I tend to give more attention to what's being advertised when I'm given the option of whether or not to activate the animation. |
