1.
Ultimate Darkness album by DarkSeed. You probably wouldn't like it because it is metal ("hard" music), but some parts of the lyrics are just incredible. I love it. Check this small excerpt out:
Quote:
Walk and smile cause you are not a dancer
Like those who dance to sounds of coins and gold
Not your world - primitive and rude
Noise dies away, this stinking rebel of men
For this is darkness and stillness and peace
Burning spirits rising high and I see
Yes I see, yes I see a flower in you
When I stare at you I see the dullness gone by
I am not alone
|
Or:
Quote:
I've seen a place where hearts cannot be
Bought or just borrowed
I've seen the sun hidden in your soul
Shining on me
When the night casts it's shadow and eats
My gladness
Shining on me like a guardian
Covers me, warming me in this coldness
My whole life
|
It is probably my most favorite album. You would just have to hear it. DarkSeed's singer left that group and created a new
group called Spi-Ritual, which is awesome too.
Also,
Christian Calcatelli is the greatest solo piano player I know. That would be the relaxing music. I've mentioned him in my previoust post.
And here is a short list of some metal songs that motivate me (and have a positive message in their lyrics):
- A Touch Of Blessing by Evergrey (the whole album is nice though)
- Not Afraid to Die by Pain
- Don't Count Me Out by Pain
- Samarithan by Candlemass
- Reroute To Remain by In Flames (beware - harsh vocals

)
- Symbols Of My Universe by Abyssaria (ditto)
- We Will Rise by Arch Enemy (again, harsh lyrics)
- The Poison Well by Dark Tranquillity (harsh lyrics)
