Hey Lauxa!

Have you looked into whether you have any home school support groups in your area? Here where I live, I know of at least three different groups of non religious home school support groups where the kids and families get together for social as well as shared educational activities. Your children would find plenty of socializing opportunities in such a situation.

I have friends who have graduated from the Sudbury Valley school here in Massachusetts as well as one friend who's daughter goes there now and I have some mixed feelings about it.

One thing that I do feel strongly about is that every child is different and I feel like each child's educational situation should be considered. I have a son who has all the characteristics of someone with ADHD and who also has severe reading disabilities. He thrives in a very structured setting that I had a very difficult time providing for him as an unschooler. He is doing well in public school and I am happy that he is there. I don't like when some of my homeschooling friends make blanket statements about how terrible public school is.

Good luck Lauxa!
