I'm new to this site, and just found this thread: I think Daniel Terhorst's idea is wonderful, both to acknowledge the new ideas we learn and to serve as a limit to time spent online... I certainly hear you, on that one

Here's my list for today:
1. Learned how to make crêpes from scratch
2. Found out that I can plant seeds of hardy plants outside in the winter; it's called 'winter sowing'.
