Don't listen to that silly boss of yours about the economy going downhill. The economy is bad for him, it is his opinion. For me, for example, economy has never been better!
Of course, if you watch TV then you will be constantly told how bad current economy is and you will gradually buy in into all this horrible destiny of the masses.
