I can completely sympathize with you. I find it so hard to talk to people at clubs. Part of my issue is that I simply don't like the dancing.
Just go with a good friend. Talk to him for a bit. The best way to meet people, in my opinion, is simply to walk up to a random group of people and introduce yourself. Do it with your friend. Now, make sure you don't pick the wrong group of people... you easily do this. Simply look for a few girls or guys that look bored themselves and say hi. It gets easy after you get into the conversation.
If you decide that you don't like the people that you met, just tell them you need to go. Then repeat the process until you meet some people that have common interests as you and that you can enjoy talking to.
