 he stood me up
He invited me out for a holiday drink, a couple of days before Christmas. Never showed. He claims different. Tried to IM me and I ignored him to the fullest. He was sooooo persistent, and I was a woman scorned. I gave him hell. I didn't fall for any of his excuses. Day after day he was persistently im-ing me when I was on line. Then I began to chat with him, and I was sarcastic. I kidded him, questioning him, "what, you're homeless?" "oh, you enjoy being homeless?" (when he really wasn't) He told me he goes on cruises and I made a comment that "Wow, you must have collected alot of cans to save up for that cruise." and all the time....he was sweet as sugar. I gave him hell, I still do, but he knows now that I am kidding with him, and he continues to be sooooooo sweet. Well we continued to chat and finally met. Damn....what a sweet guy.....kissed him for the first time this afternoon.
