yeah, well...here's the thing. one of the reasons that world peace (or any kind of peace for that matter) is so difficult to attain is that people allow themselves to be too easily offended. you don't want to be 'patronized' or called 'crazy'? well, you can kiss world leadership goodbye then!
and if you are going to make grandiose statements (and i'm not doubting your sincerity for a moment, but by any standards, that was a grandiose statement), then you gotta expect that not everyone is going to greet you as the second coming...
