Yes, right. Of course that's possible. It simply means that you're open to have several partners simultaneously. You can have zero partners or one partner and still be polyamorous.

It also probably means that you won't enter a relationship with someone who insists on having a monogamous relationship. Unless you're ready to give up being polyamorous to enter a relationship with this person, of course.
