People are skeptical of Obama because in the first week of his presidency he has already lost their trust by compromising what he espoused in his campaign.
He bombs Pakistan, killing 15 people, including three children. Where is our diplomat?
He refuses to comment on that bombing. Where is our transparency?
He calls for dismissal on a case challenging warrantless wiretapping. Where are our civil liberties?
From my point of view, Obama has already shown his true colors. I was holding out hope that he would really change our foreign or domestic policy, but his first week in office has popped that bubble of hope I had.
