Here's what I've figured out based on my lurking the poly conversations...
In my observation:
Polyamorous does not equal promiscuous. Being poly and single doesn't mean you're sleeping with anyone. It seems to me like most polies negotiate their sex life with others as much as the more conservative of single people who still have sex before marriage (but insist on "a relationship" first).
