I think for myself. If lots of people disagree with me, I look to see who's getting the best results. If other people's results seem better than mine, I learn from those people. If my results seem better, I share my viewpoint with others and let them consider it.
Makes no difference whether other people think I'm right or wrong. I just look to see who's getting the best results since effectiveness is a reasonable measure of truth alignment.
Quite often, the masses are wrong, and the few are correct.
